The Royal Haslar Hospital, Gosport, Hampshire:

Royal Haslar Hospital was the first true naval hospital in the country, receiving its first patients in 1754. The main hospital building is a Grade II* listed building, many ancillary buildings are Grade II. For more information on Haslar’s heritage see www.royalhaslar.com Our Enterprise Haslar Ltd acquired the site and has ambitions for its comprehensive restoration and regeneration, with new apartments, a care home, a retirement complex, a heritage centre and other uses. The aim is to retain and enhance everything of heritage significance, heal the scars of the late 20th C and construct new buildings to complement the old ones.
